Elliana was born on July 28, 2005. She was the first
child for both of her parents. She was the first grandchild of some of her
grandparents. She made her mother’s sister an Auntie for the first time.
We all loved and adored her antics and her huge personality. She was creative and artistic. She loved music, makeup, animals, the ocean, the mountains, cooking, and hanging out with her friends. She was beautiful, loving, and full of wonder and mischief! We could not imagine life without her!
Elliana is survived by her father, Javier Tapia, her
brother, Xavier, her paternal grandfather and grandmother, Ed and Camelia Tapia,
her uncle and aunt, Danny and Amber Tapia, and her aunt who was a godsend for
her, Kathy Ceballos.
She is also survived by her mother, Candace Koecke, her
sister, Gemma, her maternal grandfather, Tom Koecke, her maternal grandmother
and bonus grandfather, Laura and Mike Moore, her aunties, Erin and Britny
Koecke, and her great-grandmother, LoRae Cammel. She is also survived by
Gemma’s father, Rick Potter and his family who accepted her as part of their
family, too.
The cousins and friends surviving her are too many to list.
Elliana loved going to Owen Beach at Pt. Defiance Park,
so that is where the celebration of her life will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
on August 22nd. If you have a garden, please bring your favorite flower
to display at the memorial and take home to plant in Elliana’s memory.
